TYPE:
McGills Epoxy Primers are best for use over metal bases (i.e. galvanized iron). They contain anti-corrosive properties which can help your metal withstand rusting over a longer period of time.

USE:
An epoxy-based formulation, with excellent adhesion over galvanized sheet and metal surfaces and has best anti-corrosion resistance.

SURFACE PREPARATION & APPLICATION:
Clean the base surface properly. Mix 3 parts McGills Epoxy Primer (all types) to 1 part McGills Epoxy Primer Catalyst by volume. Use McGills Epoxy Reducer (Ratio 1:1) for reduction to desired viscosity. Mix the 3 components thoroughly to achieve best results. Apply 1 to 2 coats and let it dry for 8 hours before re-coating with McGills Acrylic Primer. Sand with #250 or #400 to avoid deep sand marks before applying your McGills Acrylic Primer.
