WHY USE ANZAHL ANTI-CORROSION?
 

A Polyurethane Primer containing highest quality anti-corrosion inhibitors pigments like zinc chromate, zinc phosphate and galvanic and sacrificial compounds. Proven in test exhibiting tenfold durability over conventional epoxies and vinyl primers. A MUST for all cars and vehicles, transports ships and aircrafts, especially for places near or along seashores and coastlines. It is effective over galvanized iron, stainless steel, black iron, aluminum, nickel, chrome, lead, tin, brass, bronze, glass and most plastics.

IMPORTANCE OF USING Anzahl Anti-Corrosion

  • They act as frontline base primers which provide the best protection to metal surfaces.
  • The presence of chemical inhibitors in them performs sacrificial galvanic protection.
  • They divert and dissipate corrosive and destructive tendencies over the metal surfaces.  

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Mixing Ratio: 3 parts Anzahl Anti-Corrosion Primer to 1 part Anzahl Primer Catalyst by volume (3:1)
  • Reduction: 1 part Anzahl Anti-Corrosion with Anzahl Primer Catalyst to 1 part Anzahl Urethane Thinner by volume (1:1)
  • Drying Time: 15 minutes touch free, 1-2 hours sandable and recoatable
  • Storage: (Base) 3 years (Catalyst) 1 year
  • Pot-life: Use mixed paint within 8 hours
  • Thinning: Anzahl Urethane ThInner
  • Packaging: Base - Available in 1 Liter container (3/4 Full) Hardener
  • Available in 1/2 Liter container (Half Full)
  • Caution: Toxic and flammable. Keep away from fire and reach of children.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

1. Clean the metal surface , make sure it is free from oil, grease or other foreign materials. If metal surface has been primed with Anzahl Wash Primer, do not sand.

4. Apply 2 coats. Let dry for 1-2 hours before recoating and applying body fillers.

2. Mix 3 parts Anzahl Anti Corrosion Primer 3370 (Green) to 1 part Anzahl Primer Catalyst by volume.

5. Apply thin layers of body filler on uneven surfaces until dents are levelled-out.
3. Reduce 1 part Anzahl Anti-Corrosion Mix (Anzahl Anti-Corrosion with Anzahl Primer Catalyst) with 1 part Anzahl Urethane Thinner (Ratio 1:1).
6. Wet sand using coarse sand paper and smooth sandpaper for finishing.
