TYPE
Hudson Epoxy Primer is a two component polyamide epoxy system formulated as a primer for Hudson Epoxy Enamel for superior sealing, adhesion and anticorrosive properties.
 
USE
As a primer for topcoats to be applied on exterior and interior metal, galvanized iron, wood and interior masonry. 
 
SURFACE PREPARATION
Metal surfaces should be free from rust, oil, grease, dirt and other foreign matter. Rough wood should be sanded and dusted. Interior masonry should be treated with Hudson Masonry Neutralizer #44. All surfaces should be clean and dry prior to application. 
 
PAINTING SCHEDULE
For interior metal, wood and masonry: 1st coat : Hudson Epoxy Primer 2nd & 3rd coat : Hudson Epoxy Enamel (Sanding Needed In-Between Coats)
 
MIXING
This product is a two component system, composed of a paint base and a hardener. Mix 3 parts of base paint to 1 part of hardener by volume. Stir mixture thoroughly and allow to stand for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix only enough paint for 8 hours application. Excess mixture will gel within 24 hours.
 
APPLICATION
By brush or spray. 
 
THINNING
Use Hudson Epoxy Reducer.
 
SPREADING RATE
20-25 square meters per 4-liters per coating.
 
DRYING TIME
2-3 hrs., allow overnight before re-coat. 
 
PACKAGING
Hudson Epoxy Primer - 4 liter & 1 liter can (3/4 full) Hudson Curing Agent - 1 liter & 1/4liter can (full)
